Khalid Aziz is a friend and colleague of mine who I met while working at North55. As a hobby (yip a hobby…) he takes beautiful pictures. These images capture life working on a dhow boat in Dubai. The detail, the expressions, the colours all make it feel like you’re sitting right there in the picture. A truly talented photographer. Definitely check out more of his work on his portfolio site. He’s also got some pretty spectacular landscape shots!
Well the time is finally here to say goodbye. With the epic European tour coming to an end this is the last day I’ll be spending in Dubai. I have had an incredible 5 years of meeting people from all walks of life, being exposed to opportunities and new experiences, growing both in my personal life and my work life as a graphic designer.
So here I am heading off on a new adventure with many happy memories of our life in the desert.
Thank you Dubai, it’s been awesome.

On the 25th November 2010 I was lucky enough to attend Neil and Jo’s wedding in Dubai. It was held at The Montgomerie, and as you can see from the pictures it’s stunning! The gorgeous pictures were taken by the fabulous icandy forever team (who also took our engagement pictures) Neil did an amazing job of all the design elements with everything looking perfect. It was so awesome to see both the bride and groom so happy on their day. Congratulations guys!
