Read MoreWell I’m a day late with Font Friday this week but better late than never right?! Today I have a beautiful font crafted by talented (Melbourne based!) designer Josip Kelava. A little bit about the font from the designer, Metropolis comes from the industrial years of the 1950′s where skyscrapers were born. Greatly inspired by the double line work of Twin by Mark El-Khatib, I used the double line method on HTF Champion Featherweight as a template to create a new typeface. The result is a bold, pompous typeface with a stolidly calm disposition.

Today’s font goodness is from You Work For Them (which has an amazing sale on right now by the way) called Trithart. I love the vintage, hand drawn feel to this font. Perfect for packaging or titles in a poster.
