Khalid Aziz is a friend and colleague of mine who I met while working at North55. As a hobby (yip a hobby…) he takes beautiful pictures. These images capture life working on a dhow boat in Dubai. The detail, the expressions, the colours all make it feel like you’re sitting right there in the picture. A truly talented photographer. Definitely check out more of his work on his portfolio site. Love these gorgeous patterns created for the Birds of a Feather lookbook and website. Designed by Aileen Cheng, the subtle colour palette and patterns develop a unique visual language for the brand. The logo was designed by the lovely Bri of Design Love Fest.
Wow. 2011 you have been amazing. In a nut shell… I got married to my best friend and partner in crime. Went honeymooning in the beautiful Maldives. Left our life in Dubai and travelled for a few months to Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, America, England, Greece, Spain, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, Scotland, Ireland, Australia and ended up in the homeland of New Zealand. I hope that 2011 has treated everyone just as well and wishing you a very Merry Christmas and New Year!!! See you in 2012!
